My Students

My students love to learn and I feel that my job is to help them further their passion by keeping them motivated and making learning fun for all of them. I believe my project can do just that.

My students love to learn new things and I love to find new ways for them to learn.

They are ready and willing to learn anything I put in front of them. Our school is located in Sugar Land, which is a suburb of Houston. We have a large population of English Language Learners. The majority of our students want nothing more than to be successful and that is exactly what I want for each and every one of them. They are enthusiastic about school and learning.

My Project

As a teacher, my time is split among 20+ students. As much as I would love to be able to work with every single group every single day giving immediate feedback, that's just not possible. If we had these materials in our classroom, my students could apply their knowledge of the content being taught by participating in a workstation where they will receive immediate feedback.

The Hot Dots are a great tool that can be used in many different ways.

They can be used to reinforce their prior knowledge of any subject matter as well as give them a chance to practice their skills on topics that might still be a struggle. They are an engaging tool to use in the classroom because children love to get immediate feedback. The Hot Dots will provide this for them and make learning fun!
