My Students

My students are inquisitive, unique, and curious little learners. They like to read and learn and are very expressive. Many of them are from single-parent homes with one or no working parents. While my students have no control over their families’ financial statuses, it should not ever be something that hinders them from being all they can be.

My young scholars are looking for motivation in everything they do, see, and are exposed to.

Some of the things and situations they have been exposed to are completely out of their control. I believe that with motivated teachers, data-based instruction, and the proper tools and motivation, the sky is the limit for every one of my students!

My Project

Help me give my students some meaningful healthy items in class to keep their little brains going between breakfast and lunch times, when it may be harder to focus. Some of my students arrive very late or leave earlier in the day, resulting in them missing breakfast and or lunch times. I would love to have some healthy and sustainable snacks in class at my disposal, to give to my late students in my early departing students, so they won't have to worry about being hungry until the next meal. It would also be amazing to have these items on standby for when little stomach rumbling start between meals. Let's face it, we know it's hard for us to concentrate and focus when we are hungry, so let's set these little ones up for success. Every little bit counts!
