First grade is a year when students are learning how to read. Building math and reading skills are important. I plan to incorporate technology with reading and math. It will peak the students' interest and get the excited about learning.
It is also great to have a read to me tool as the students are learning how to read.
I have included a beginning level and an advanced level read to me books on my list. It is individual based to help students with reading.
Centers are a self-paced learning environment for students. I believe they will enjoying learning and explore with this type of environment.
