This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All of my students love to learn and love to learn with their hands even more. During this rainy season, my students are stuck indoors anyday it rains or anyday we have rough weather outside. With these materials, my students will be able to learn while they are stuck inside in the safety of our classroom.
The LEGO activities will keep my students engaged, allow them to work on fine motor skills, teach them science, and also give them the chance to work with their peers on turn taking and collaborating as a group.
The ring toss and other activities are a great way for my students to work on hand eye coordination as well as social skills like turn taking.
