The manipulative and sensory items for my kiddos will be used to help them better understand the lessons I will be teaching. I have 1st-3rd graders so their levels vary. The manipulatives will help teach one lesson in multiple ways to the different grades. My autistic kiddos rely on sensory items throughout the day so those will keep them engaged and keep them encouraged to continue during small groups. Sensory breaks are vital to their learning and these will greatly help in my classroom. I am a first year special education teacher and I am trying to provide the best learning environment for my kiddos possible and any help will contribute to their learning environment!
