Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have found that the students enjoy coloring activities, the De'VIA art project and partner work that requires art supplies, such as colored pencils and paint. We also have one major art project a year and we do have a few projects that need art supplies to execute the work.

In my American Sign Language classroom, I like to use art and creativity to primarily reinforce vocabulary.

I have also requested some window film to help reduce the sunlight in the classroom which causes the room to regularly hit temperatures over 84 degrees. Which as I'm sure you can imagine, makes learning hard. I'm hoping the film will help keep the temperatures in the classroom down.
