This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 29 awesome students in the downtown area of Dallas, TX. Our school was recently totaled for a devastating tornado and we are in the process of rebuilding and getting back together. The kids are doing a great job working hard, despite the fact that we were moved to a near-abandoned school in the area. It is a Dual Language classroom and the kids just helped the school to get our second Blue Ribbon. I am really proud of them and do think they deserve the best technology to keep up with the challenges of the new world.

My Project

I'm almost always distant from my students because the old technology keeps me attached to cables and we have no wireless technology. I would like to be able to walk freely around the room, monitor and assist my students right there at the moment, instead of being busy clicking a laptop or old desktop.

Being able to monitor the kids will allow me to provide immediate feedback and show and share the best examples in order to help the kids maximize their academic potential.

it will also provide me with the tools I need to screen share our projects and interact more effectively.
