Our ESOL newcomer student population is quickly growing. We are all learning together as we go. Many immigrant families are new to our country and that can be very scary for parents and students.
These newcomer families often struggle to get their basic needs.
The shampoo and conditioner will be used to refill travel containers as needed. The snacks will be used in class and sent home as needed as well.
The language translator will be a great communication tool to use with newcomer students learning the language and for immigrant parents. We have one from a previous project that works great. Having a second one will be communication back and forth much easier. We won't have to keep changing the language. Each person talking would have their own to use.
