I teach kindergarten through fourth grade students who are creative, clever, funny and have a strong desire to learn. My kinder kiddos are future technology gurus who already know the basics of web browsers, online accounts and how to create projects using graphics with art. My first graders are learning various keyboard essentials of typing, grammar and creating basic sentences in word and notepad. My second, third and fourth graders are starting to become familiar with power point and how to research information online and locally, to create a presentation on an animal, person or topic.
My students love to learn and try new things that challenge them.
Within the projects we create, each student has the opportunity to add their own skills and uniqueness to reflect who they are.
By providing my students with headphones and mice, they will have full access to online and interactive programs and software that help meet their learning needs and goals.
They will work on online lessons that involve reading, writing and mathematics.
Social Studies and Science will allow them to view virtual field trips of monumental places and icons throughout our world. They will be able to listen to audio books and passages to grow within their vocabulary and literary skills while using digital tools to solve math problems. To meet their creative and application needs, they will create projects to reflect their understanding. Their learning opportunities will be endless and meaningful!
