My Students

At our Title I school with students who come from low-income or high poverty homes, my students are faced with challenges in and outside of the classroom. All of the students our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Sometimes these meals are all that they may get for the day. Some of the students who come to my classroom face homelessness, live in shelters, motels, or are living with family members or friends.

Many students come to my classroom for extra help and support with their academic and social learning.

My classroom is specially structured to meet their needs. We strive to provide a full educational experience for all students, incorporating social skills, community skills, and functional skills into our daily routines.

My Project

My students have been working on learning the sounds that letters make. We have been practicing really hard in many different ways. They enjoy interactive games and playing when they learn.

My students need new games to practice their emerging phonics skills.

The Pop and Match game set will help us practice beginning, middle and ending sounds of words in a fun and engaging way! The Leveled Sight-Word Practice Cards will help students practice the words that they know. Learning can be so much fun when you use interactive games! I know my students would be even more excited to learn with these new games!
