My Students

My students are the smartest, caring, and outgoing individuals. A lot of them already know what they want to do when they grow up! Although our students are from the inner city of Washington DC, they are exposed to all types of activities to cause them to thrive academically and socially.

From Ages 8-11 these little scholars are on the road to having bright futures, from Doctors to Chefs.

I only want them to experience the best education that I possibly can, with the right tools that take innovation to the next level.

My Project

This iPad will be used for students to learn how to cook and prepare meals and also used to record students doing their own cooking segment. This not only encourages independence as they grow but also prepares them to engage audiences and develop public speaking skills. Students will look up recipes they agree upon then as a class we will vote on what is our healthiest option and then we will fix that meal. The group who chose the winning meal will have to put together a show segment having a producer, cameraman (iPad Camera), and spokesperson.
