Learning To Code With Ozobot

Help me give my students the ability to learn about robotic coding with 8 new Ozobots!

My Students

My 2nd - 4th grade students LOVE their STEM Lab. They are excited and eager to learn every day when they come to STEM. They do not hesitate to jump into any project or challenge and they treasure the time they get to spend working in the lab.

Their creativity and innovation never ceases to amaze me!

In our lab students of all backgrounds and abilities find ways to succeed and are able to engage in valuable learning experiences that give them not only academic skills, but important life skills as well.

My Project

Ozobots are robots that can be programmed in a variety of ways. Our lab currently has three Ozobots which is exciting but only allows for six students from each class to experience it at a time. The addition of 8 Ozobots to our STEM Lab would enable whole class projects and challenges, exposing significantly more students to the concepts of coding and robotics. The fulfillment of this project through donations would mean reaching all students who enter the lab.

The possibilities are endless!

Ozobot can be used by all 2nd - 4th grade students to learn about coding. Color patterns using markers can be used by younger students and upper elementary students can experience a program called Ozoblockly, which uses computer block language to have Ozobot perform certain actions.
