Ozobots are robots that can be programmed in a variety of ways. Our lab currently has three Ozobots which is exciting but only allows for six students from each class to experience it at a time. The addition of 8 Ozobots to our STEM Lab would enable whole class projects and challenges, exposing significantly more students to the concepts of coding and robotics. The fulfillment of this project through donations would mean reaching all students who enter the lab. The possibilities are endless! Ozobot can be used by all 2nd - 4th grade students to learn about coding. Color patterns using markers can be used by younger students and upper elementary students can experience a program called Ozoblockly, which uses computer block language to have Ozobot perform certain actions.
