Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my wonderful students are special education students meaning they require a little extra support to access curriculum in school. Being organized and accepting differences shows love and respect for the child and it’s what is needed before we ask them to do something difficult.

I want to show my students all the support and love they need through the school year.

The bean bag chairs provide a comfortable place to read and the weighted animals help the sensory needs. Laminate sheets, colorful clipboards keep us organized and consistent in our routines!

Giving my students a safe place that’s comfortable and homey too, will help them feel more relaxed.

Safe and relaxed allows me to connect and teach skills they need to be successful.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
