Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a group of energetic, caring, and adventurous preschoolers who love to share their work with their families and others! They love taking pictures of their creations and their work so they can share it with their parents when they come visit the classroom. We are housed in a public, magnet school in an urban city where students receive free breakfast and lunch.
In my classroom I provide children with an environment for them to explore, gain a sense of self, play with peers and build self-confidence.
I want to make their first year of school a fun and memorable one!
My Project
These materials will allow us to print pictures and resources to use and share with our preschoolers and their families. We will also use the materials to create displays of students' work and creations. We create books, collages, and other art projects using pictures of our students, so we would love to have access to a color printer! The scanner on this printer unit will allow us to scan their artworks for PowerPoint slide shows, to display during parent night/ open house and during other family events.
Our students love to use technology to capture their accomplishments and special moments in our classroom!
