My students need the 10.5 inch iPad Pro to aid in their educational process. With our world continuing to become more centered on technology, it is important to give students every opportunity possible to learn more.
My students can be described in one word- amazing. These kids come from some very difficult home lives. The students at my school generally come from low income families. Many of the students do not have the basic necessities they need for proper living. The circumstances of these students can lead to poor reading scores.
I am a 4th and 5th grade ELA teacher, and my highest reading group is at a 3rd grade reading level.
Giving my students special privileges and an extra incentive to want to come to school and learn will help them feel special. My students need to know that people are thinking of them. My students need to know that someone cares about their success and is cheering for them to succeed. My students can overcome anything. With your support my students will have an extra reminder that they are amazing!
My Project
The iPad Pro, iPad Pro keyboard, and Apple Pencil will revolutionize the educational process in my classroom. This year I was able to get a large TV in my classroom.
The items included in this project will allow my students to take more responsibility for their learning.
Right now, it is challenging for the students to fully participate in classroom instruction because of where my computer is located. The use of the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil will allow me to move around the room freely. It will allow the students to take active participation in the lessons that are being taught! The iPad Pro keyboard is an added bonus since the students will be able to practice their typing skills regardless of what we are doing in the classroom.
