My students come to school ready to learn and explore! My students know that I believe in them and they should always believe in themselves! They are always trying and working toward their best! Lessons are interactive and engaging for the students. Higher level thinking is a constant in our classroom! Students are creating mini books, science projects, and new ideas each day! This classroom is fun, inventive, and academically challenging! My students are the future and I want to give them the best start to their academic career!
My Project
iPads are a great use of technology! Integrating them into our classroom will make learning exciting and new! Having iPads that are only for our class will allow us to use it daily in large groups, as well as small group lessons. Large group lessons can be used to show videos, project lessons on the smartboard, or telling a story. The possibilities are endless. Small group lessons will allow for listening to reading or independent research.
Brain PopJr is a great resource for second grade!
It delivers information to students at a level which they can comprehend and need to learn the lesson. Moby and Annie are great characters that can teach fabulous lessons from science, reading, writing, health, social studies, and math! From holidays to exploration: Brain PopJr has it all! We would use this technology daily with our new iPads!
