My Students

Our classroom currently hosts a full day preschool classroom with seventeen 4-year old students. My students are all on target developmentally and very excited to learn and make progress throughout the year. My students are learning, creating and exploring each day during our center time.

The community we live in is supportive and will try to support the students in many ways, however, funding can be a roadblock at times.

My students are eagerly learning to become explorers and have fun to explore sensory type items. Our classroom is needing a sensory table to continue on exploring and learning about new things.

My Project

Our students will be able to explore new materials and items through touching, smell, and texture using a sensory tub. Using this tub will give a lot of my students a first-time experience for learning about new things.

Preschool is about exploring!

Introducing new items into our bin will be able to give our preschoolers that exact opportunity. Other educational items can be incorporated into the sensory bin. Dramatic play will also take place at the sensory table as they will be working with many real-life items throughout our school year. Teaching preschool to explore now with their senses will keep them exploring the rest of their life!
