Our morning in our classroom is focused on our learning centers. Our centers move around the room and often times our students spend learning time putting the learning items back in places because of the lack of storage and accessibility. We need shelves that will help our students become independent learners by teaching them procedures on how to put away and find materials. Having access to our learning manipulatives and toys will teach our young learners how to tidy up and learn to follow procedures on their own. Following procedures is a key learning element in early childhood. The early learner being able to access toys and manipulatives independently will lead to more success in their later educational career.
