My Project

I am excited to provide my first graders with tools that will help them grow both emotionally, socially, and academically. After a few difficult years with COVID-19 and transitioning back into in-person learning, teachers have seen many ways in which students have been impacted. My students come to school with a lack of social skills, (patience, cooperation, sharing, and partner work) and low stamina for academic learning.

My goal is to have my students engaged throughout the day, which will help them grow both socially and academically.

These tools will be used as station activities when students walk into the class. Each group of students will get an activity that will allow them to collaborate and learn from each other. These items will provide a way for students to interact on a different level with their classmates, increase fine motor skills, and every student ready to learn.
