My Project

Hello. I am a teacher at a charter school. I have students on very different academic levels. One great way to get them all working together as a cohesive group is through play. When the children are engaged in a fun phonics, math, or language arts game, they are all on equal ground. Even the ones who are normally shy and reserved come out of their shells. I am hoping to provide fun and engaging learning games and manipulatives to my students so they can learn while having fun and interact more with each other. Learning through games and play help imprint a concept long term. Think about singing the alphabet, wasn't it more fun learning it by singing it than if you just had to memorize it? That is how I feel learning games impact students. I would be thrilled to be able to provide that kind of learning tool kit to my students. Thank you for your consideration.
