Help me give my students a school year with ALL of their needs supplied. This project will support our small groups, and our urgent need for recess materials and activities.

My Project

Every child deserves opportunities to learn, move, play, and recharge throughout the school day. This project will provide my first-grade students with recess equipment, including jump ropes, indoor games, puzzles, and a hopscotch carpet, so they can stay active, build friendships, practice problem-solving, and enjoy meaningful play in all types of weather. Storage bins will keep our new materials organized and easily accessible, while a rolling cart with drawers will help organize materials for small-group instruction. This project also includes a teacher rolling chair and plenty of snacks for students who may become hungry during our long school day. When my students’ physical and emotional needs are met, they are better able to focus, participate, and do their very best learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
