My Project

Our sensory table has been one of my students’ favorite centers throughout the years and after much love and use, our table has cracked and needs to be replaced. This sand and water table is a versatile teaching tool and makes learning accessible to all of my students!

We learn about wind and water by creating sailboats and sailing them.

We mix colors with water beads and even do some gardening in our unit on Plants and Things that Grow. During the winter, we explore the properties of ice and snow and how their states change when we add heat. We also love to use the table to make ooblek to further our understanding of liquid and solid states!

The rainbow pebbles will be a wonderful addition to our water table and also, our light table. The students will be able to explore colors while using them to stack and sort, as well!
