My Students

My Students: In my third grade class there is a vast range of reading levels. This listening center will help me to meet the needs of all these levels.

My third grade students are a rainbow coalition of children who are bused in from all over Los Angeles.

In addition they come from ethnically, socio-economically diverse backgrounds. Our focus is on multiculturalism and the humanities. As you walk across our campus you will see our students playing and learning happily together.

My Project

My students reading abilities range from well below grade level to high school level. This listening center will help to differentiate and address the vast reading levels of my students. It will help my struggling readers as they follow along with their texts. It will inspire my advanced readers as they listen to exciting stories read aloud to them.

One of the biggest challenges of a teacher is making sure you're reaching the needs of all your students.

This listening center will do exactly that! They will access quality literature while fostering a love of books.
