This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These game development kits and books will provide students will multiple opportunities to experience multiply aspects of Computer Science. The objective of these kits for my class is to provide my students different ways to experience game development while also providing different levels of difficulty to meet their needs. I want my students to be able to see how coding has been integrated into the world around them.

Programming is not always about sitting in front of a computer.

The ELECFREAKS Retro Coding Arcade Kits provide students hands-on approach to game development that lets them play a game of their own design. The Mastering Game Design with Unity 2021 and Invent Your Own Computer Games with Python will provide my students more opportunities to learn game development using multiple languages and programs.

I want my students to have an enjoyable experience with learning programming, while also providing real hands-on experience. There is a larger world to computer science than many people know and I want my students to experience as much of it as I can possibly show them. My ultimate goal is to help these students develop the same love I have for computer science.
