My Project

The students at my school and those within the county are a diverse group of school students who come from a wide span of economic, racial, and social backgrounds. Our schools are located in a rural, poverty stricken area. All students in the district qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We only have a classroom set of books in most classes and no books in others. Many students lack access to electronic resources when they are at home and other resources are limited at home and school. Many students do not have Internet at home.

The games will help my students learn how to manage money, what it is like to become an entrepreneur, and how to take care of their social emotional well being.

This will help them become better members of society. These games can be used in more than one of the classes that I teach and are aligned with the curriculum.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
