My Students

Our students engage in a unique learning environment. We are transitioning to a Personalized Learning framework, which is student-centered. As we transition, we are developing ways to teach students the skills necessary to successfully take advantage of the opportunities this teaching/learning style can offer.

Middle school can be a difficult transition in life but through student engagement and high-interest activities, it can be an ideal stage to inspire change.

Our middle school students are at the right place for the transition to personalized learning plans, thus leading the way for a truly individualized high school experience. Much of this type of learning environment relies heavily on technology. This not only enriches the learning environment but it paves the students' way into the future

My Project

Providing students the tools for success accounts for a large percentage of their educational outlook. Through the use of personalized learning plans, our students are beginning a journey to build self-monitoring and goal-setting skills for the future.

Students will benefit from the use of, and use the document camera to help them make the transition to independent learners in charge of their futures.

The Elmo will allow for student presentations of their projects, portfolios, and evidence to showcase how they have met the goals in their personalized learning plans. It will also be used by the teacher to be better able to show students the details in their examples.
