My Students

I am currently in my 11th year as a school teacher. all my students have become like my own. Every single child is unique and special in their own way. They all have the ability to become successful at anything they do. Kids at this age are so creative and imaginative. The students in my class have a love for learning and want to do the best they can do. They are excited to for the opportunity to learn to read and are very hands on and love activities and games to help them learn.

My Project

They say kids' brains are like sponges and the amount they can learn and obtain at a young age is amazing. Most of the school population excels through kinesthetic means: touching, feeling, experiencing the material at hand. Children enter kindergarten as kinesthetic and tactual learners, moving and touching everything as they learn. Kinesthetic learners are most successful when totally engaged with the learning activity. Having these hands on centers such as touch and read, word building, sight words and other activities will help the students grow a stronger academic background in reading that they will use with them for the rest of their lives.
