Our new flower-shaped collaboration tables provide room for students to spread out materials, work in small groups, and engage fully in hands-on activities. One exciting moment was during our lesson on text features and text structures—students worked together to analyze passages, identify key elements, and organize their findings. They used the ample workspace to sort, highlight, and discuss their ideas, helping each other think critically and dig deeper into the text.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new tables, their excitement was immediate. They couldn't wait to sit together, share resources, and begin collaborating on projects. The welcoming layout inspired creativity and made learning feel engaging and interactive. It's wonderful to see students not only enjoying their work but also supporting one another as they problem-solve and discuss their thinking.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students are finalizing their activities on text features and text structures and preparing to present their findings to the class. The tables continue to serve as a hub for teamwork, reflection, and creative problem-solving, providing the ideal environment for students to explore ideas, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of their learning.
