These instructional magazine some monthly and each issue contains a treasure trove of teaching materials!!! Each issue includes: a nonfiction passage, a fiction passage, a set of paired texts (which have endless potential), a drama section, an article that allows children the opportunity to debate after presenting both sides, poetry, a vocabulary section, an infographic (which reminds me of graphic aids or text features, and grammar practice. Storyworks magazines are a fun and engaging resource I can use to teach grammar, vocabulary, close reading, and more at any level my students need, they provide online differentiated reading levels so I can tailor my lesson to my lower learners, higher achievers, and everyone in between!!!
