My Students

We are the Intermediate MoCI classroom located in Northern, MI. Being a center based learning program, we educate students with significant special needs ranging from CI, ASD, SXI, EI, OHI, etc.

My classroom has 8 students who are learning basic skills in reading, math, social-emotional and daily living.

Hands-on learning is fun for the students and they enjoy a variety of tasks for independent work. Some basic skills they practice every day are matching colors, letters and numbers.

Our classroom is asking for a new personal laminating machine and supplies. With this purchase, staff will be able to print lessons from our online curriculum and turn them into hands-on learning activities for the students that can be used over and over again. No more wasting printer ink and paper!

Thank you for caring about and donating to a wonderful class of students. With a new laminating machine and supplies, the students can work on basic skills so they can live, work, and play in their home community.

My Project

A personal laminating machine will be used to make reusable pages from our online curriculum.

We waste a lot of paper and ink by printing multiple copies for students to repeatedly practice their IEP goals.

Markers, clip boards, and binders will be used to individualize the laminated work for individual student binders. Being able to customize the work for students makes it easy to track progress on student goals.

Having these items to help my students practice their individual IEP goals on a daily basis. They can grab their own binder and get started on their work right away!
