My Project

Please consider helping my special needs classroom with some much needed supplies to help meet their learning goals. My students use headphones daily in my classroom as a way to have material read to them during Chromebook time. Our current headphones are 3 years old and have begun to not work for the majority of my students. We desperately need quality headphones to replace those that have been worn out over the years.

My students are hands on learners and they struggle with reading words.

The magnetic letters and boards will help teach sounds and blends so my classroom can advance to reading near or on grade level. My students will gain reading ability by using these materials to build words that will begin their path to becoming an independent reader. The "doodle" boards and sentence strips will aide students in writing letters correctly and forming sentences from the words they are now able to read. This process will build my students confidence and their ability to excel in 2nd grade.
