Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

4th grade is at that age where they are really learning to love school. My goal is to show them that learning brings knowledge and rewards. Each item is a way to motivate our students to continue as we are in the middle of the race for the end of the year. The stickers will be given out as students show progression throughout their learning. This can be with assessments, homework, or even just Lexia levels. The backpacks are end-of-the-year bags that I am hoping to fill with books they can read over the summer to continue pushing and challenging their minds. The goal is to find out what they love and zoom in on those different types of books. My last goal is to use the headphones as a most improved for one boy and one girl out of our 80 students in 4th grade. The students who will earn these are students who have shown true growth this year. We are hoping these items will motivate the students to reach goals they feel are unreachable.
