This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing first graders! All of my students are energetic and vibrant learners who want to explore the world around them. They are motivated and eager to learn. I always try to provide them with a classroom full of hands-on activities and group projects.

My students always try their best no matter what obstacle is in their way.

Whenever my students enter the classroom they know they are in a safe/caring/loving place and they can leave all their troubles at the door. My students are not just my students, they are my family and I will do anything for them.

My Project

In order to teach responsibility to my students, they need to learn how to keep things safe and organized. Students will perform better when they know someone cares about them. For this to happen I need to buy a charging station for our Chromebooks. I need to be able to physically show my students how to keep important things safe.

Not being able to complete your work online because your battery died is the worse feeling.

On countless occasions, I had a laptop or iPad die in the middle of my students lesson. Often they would walk away and not be motivated enough to finish their assignment because everyone would be farther ahead than them. Another one of my biggest struggles is when five students will be working on their technology device and no one can hear their own lesson. I would love to have headphones for everyone one of my students so they can focus on their own lesson and not be distracted by others. If you choose to donate to this project, you will be helping my students improve their math, reading, and writing skills. You will also open the door for them to explore the world and keep up with current technology demands. Thank you so much for looking at my project.
