Learning Outside & Staying Active!

Help me give my students a change to be outside and be active! We have great space to have a disc gold course! I'd love to expose my students!

My Students

Our students are located in Burlington, Vermont's largest city. Our school district is the most diverse in the state.

Our school is home to many languages, religions, races, and cultures.

Together, we create our identity as a learning community while also exploring what makes us special as individuals.

My Project

My students love PE! They are active, energetic kids who love to learn and love to be outside. We have been back at school in person this school year, and students could not be happier! With these disc golf stations we will be able to go outside year round and be active!

This project will help grow our community together!

We have different family structures, home languages, and ethnicities represented in our classroom. Students also come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, but that doesn't stop their love and passion for being active.

We are very fortunate to have a great big field space but I'm noticing there is a need for more of a sense for community! I'm hoping to create a disc golf course for my students and a space they can use with their families and friends! Help me create more of a community in my community!
