My students need the table top teaching easel because small groups are important to success in kindergarten.

My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher in southern Nevada. Our school population's economic status has continued to drop the last few years as well as our school district budget. It is very hard to teach young minds without the proper materials.

Kindergarten is now full day, which means more time to keep young minds busy.

It also means it is what first grade used to be like many years ago. It is our responsibility to make school exciting for your young ones to grow a love of learning.

My Project

Learning letters and sounds is the beginning of learning almost everything. If students don't know their letters and sounds they will not learn to read and write. The wood blocks and magic boards will give students the hands-on chance to practice writing letters and words. The small teaching easel will allow me to demonstrate the correct formation of letters with my small groups. The painters help students feel the correct formation of letters through various class activities.

Making learning fun and enjoyable is important in Kindergarten.

For many students kindergarten is the first time they are setting foot in a classroom. The more exciting the classroom and lessons they more excited the students will be to return day after day.

The hands on materials I have requested will help students feel success in their learning and in turn give them a love of school and the confidence they need to succeed.
