My Students

Our classroom is full of diversity, from special education to language learners. The school is a middle income school and does not receive extra funding that is needed to purchase extra learning supplies. Our parent community does their best to support the classrooms with extra funding, but it does not cover all that is needed.

The first graders in this classroom are curious and ready to explore.

They love learning and asking questions about the topics we are covering. We are always discovering new learning paths.

My Project

Technology is a very important part of learning. In our classroom we have a limited amount of technology items for students to use and learn from. The donation would allow more students to learn and explore using Chromebook devices. Our students have shown success with using online programs to strengthen their skills. The devices will allow more students at one time to strengthen their skills. Students will also be able to use the devices for group collaboration opportunities and for research projects. There is no limit to what they can use the devices for when learning and exploring online.
