My Project

When the number of scholars in demand of support are high, it is important for me to be able to move around the classroom quickly and effortlessly. I am asking for a rolling desk to deliver instruction anywhere in the classroom. I plant to use the rolling feet to teach Phonics. I also plan to use it during whole group instruction in front of the classroom.

Mobility and visibility as the teacher are super important to my teaching style!

This desk will also be used by students for flexible seating to complete classroom assignments.

The mobile desk will allow me to move around the classroom with district provided curriculum in order to support students in small groups and individually. Teachers need flexible seating to provide the best instruction for students. Students will also be able to use the standing desk whenever the desk is not in use by the teacher. I am also asking for lamination to laminate student and teacher resources as well and dry erase markers to use during phonics and word work groups. The rolling storage cart will be used to hold small group reading materials. It will allow me to travel to different groups of students to provide reading instruction that is targeted to each individual student.
