My Students

My school is in a rural area. Students work hard in the the classroom. Because of our rural school students are not able to receive the full benefits of having a band or marching band in junior high. We are offering students basic music concepts and how to play simple instruments to prepare them for high school band. Student will learn how to read music and play an instrument. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Students are taught the basic fundamentals of music which will allow them to be able to read music.

My Project

Students are introduced to music skills in the classroom. By doing this students are able to read music and play the Angel 101 Soprano Recorder provided. Students will be receiving direct instruction on how to read music and play an instrument. The Angel 101 Soprano Recorder and The Beginners Method for Soprano and Alto Recorder book will be a classroom set that will not only serve my current students this year but will be used for future students as well.

Music is an art form that can not always be offered in smaller schools, I am excited that we are able to offer our students this great experience.
