My Students

My kindergarteners are energetic and curious learners! They are excited, active, and creative. They come to school each day wide-eyed and ready to learn anything and everything!

My students are a diverse group of children.

They come from many different countries and speak many different languages. As their Kindergarten teacher, I get to provide my students with their very first school experience! Kindergarten can have such an important impact on the rest of their lives, so I try to make my classroom environment as caring and welcoming as possible!

My Project

We are so lucky in my classroom to have 10 iPads available for students to engage in math and literacy learning. Unfortunately, many of our headphones are very old and no longer work properly. Being able to have at least one classroom set of working headphones would help my students better concentrate on their learning!

Many foundational math and literacy skills are attained in Kindergarten.

It is essential that my students are able to use hands on materials to gain a better understanding of those basic concepts, such as counting, numeracy, and concepts of print. These hands-on manipulatives will help my students develop these basic skills and support them in a successful start to their schooling!
