My Project

After returning to school from Hurricane Ian, my kids came back HUNGRY. Many of my students do not have the funds available from home to bring in a nutritious snack to help them through the day. Hunger takes away students' ability to focus on academics.

Funding this project means that my students will be able to fill their stomachs and fuel their brains for learning.

One of my students' favorite part of the day is snack time, and I truly enjoy watching the excitement they get when we get a supply of new snacks.
