Help me give my students a sound system for the classroom. In days where technology is becoming essential for learning. I have found that my students respond well to video and live lessons.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Working in a low-income (Title I) school district brings about many challenges, but there are so many blessings that occur as well. Students are faced with trials each day outside of school, however, they still manage to brighten my day.
These students strive to be the best that they can regardless of extenuating circumstances and desire to learn despite daily obstacles.
Helping to provide students will supplies and materials for learning promotes positive mental spaces that allow for student growth.
My Project
As an educator, I have found that my students respond well to videos, short clips, and recordings of lesson and skill. Not having a loud enough speaker is a real concern for us. The speakers that were provided are small and ineffective. Students in the back of the room cannot hear and thus miss essential parts of the lesson.
Having reliable speakers within the classroom can ensure that all students are given the opportunity to learn through videos or clips the teacher displays.
Our students are very excited for the classroom sound system and being able to learn using modern technology. We want to give them the opportunity to be successful by providing this sound system that provides all students the ability to hear the lessons and gain the skills being taught.
