Help me give my students the opportunity to continue to learn, to create and to read during stay-home learning. The materials for this project will enable them to continue to learn and be ready for Kindergarten!
Due to the Covid-19 our school is closed for the rest of the school year. Despite the closures our children must continue to learn during this critical early years of development. The economic closures affected the parents, the children and their resources. For this reason, their resources which are already limited is now bare minimum. This project will foster in home learning, emergent reading skills, and sensory creativity that will help keep children’s innate love of learning.
My Project
This project is designed to enrich childrens love of learning while being at home. The children will receive their own personalize book geared mainly to their interest (Pete the Cat, Frozen and Shopkins). In addition, they will receive their own art and learning materials. These art materials such as the watercolor, modeling clay, and chalks will foster their artistic skills that will continue to spark their creative minds. The dry erase materials will help them be an active participant during our virtual zoom teaching moments! All these materials are intended to be kept by the children, helping their parents to have less burden during this pandemic. These materials foster the children feeling of having a school environment while being at home!
