it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students on the autism spectrum often have a harder time reading social cues which sometimes can portray them as not caring. Therefore, we need to attach behaviors to kindness and empathy, such as using appropriate facial expressions (not smiling when someone is hurt) and responding with appropriate gestures (hugging, patting back, etc.) to help them learn how to be kind.
Help me teach my students on the autism spectrum how to be kind with these books about kindness, flashcards about emotions and sensory toys that helps them express their feelings.
The book bundle, will support my students by showing them visuals and hearing stories at their grade level about kindness and compassion. The flashcards will support my students to learn the names to all the different emotions that they can feel. And the sensory toys with facial expressions can support my students by to express how they feel.
