My Project

Learning a second language is difficult. This is especially true with languages that do not use the same writing system as the primary language of students. However, students from any background can easily learn games and words through actions, especially if they are rooted in the culture of the people they are learning about. My students are the type of students who accept this challenge, as they are passionate about learning Japanese language and culture.

By incorporating educational games, Japanese books, and Japanese cultural practices into lessons, students will be able to learn the language easier and enjoy doing so.

The products I have selected will help students exercise Japanese language skills, practice Japanese culture, and engage in learning activities that were previously unavailable due to the lack of Japanese language supplies. In addition, several of the projects will help both the students and I create Japanese learning games and activities to further their language abilities.

I have seen how students have responded to the games and activities we have done so far this year, and thee items on this list were the creation of surveying the students and getting their input for how I could improve our class. Essentially, every item here was chosen and supported by current students to help improve the class and improve their abilities, which truly reflects how dedicated they are to learning Japanese.
