My students come from a variety of backgrounds. They are excited to learn and thrive in our school's safe and caring environment. The school is full of dedicated teachers, staff, families, and students.
We are nearing 500 students, and we are committed to providing a rigorous and engaging environment for each child.
Our community is very supportive, and our school morale is high!
Our students are very interested in learning and being successful! 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. I want to give my first grade students a great start to their long journey of learning!
My Project
My students work hard on their individual reading goals all throughout the year. As they reach their monthly benchmarks, they are able to choose a reward from the prize box. I like to have my prize box fully stocked with a variety of treats to keep my students motivated and on their toes! I would use the Fruit Strips, Fruits Snacks, and Goldfish for their monthly goals. The Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids and other treats can be used for weekly and daily incentives. All of these sweet treats would be available to earn as they learn to decode and read! By helping to fund this project, you will be helping to provide sweet rewards to some amazing students who deserve it! It is the little things we do as educators that will help our students work hard and be successful.
