My Project

This year, the amount of testing and the expectations put on first graders has increased substantially. I am looking for new ways to ensure my students' love of learning grows as they learn in my classroom.

Learning should be fun!

I have found that utilizing games in the classroom increases student engagement and their retention of the skills. I am looking for new games to help my students learn the skills imperative for success in first grade and beyond.

These games will be used in small groups, as well as independently by the students during centers. I love watching them have fun while they are learning!
