No longer do we have to stop mid-lesson to deal with broken pencils or worn-down crayons. Instead, my students are fully engaged, focusing on their writing, drawing, and creative expression without frustration. During a recent project, we created self-portraits with detailed backgrounds that reflected each child's unique personality.
