My students are good listeners, very thoughtful, curious, enthusiastic and creative. They love to learn something new every day. Reading is one of them. That is the first thing they love to do in the morning when they get inside the classroom. Their curiosity drives me to make learning more fun and more exciting. Solving problems with manipulative and puzzles are one of their favorites. Your help will make a big difference to my kids when it comes to Arts and Crafts. With that, creativity comes in.
My Project
My students are eager and ready to learn. As a teacher, I believe that when my students are given the necessary school supplies for them to start their journey in Kindergarten, they would be equipped, empowered and their minds will be set to focus on learning. It will make them feel that with these materials provided, poverty will not be a hindrance for them to learn and have the education that they deserve.
In my project, I am requesting for a draw and write journal.
I would love my students to express themselves through their drawings and learn to write simple sentences. It will help them see writing in a meaningful way. I also included center materials such as count and link, magnetic sound sorting boards, snap and build sight words, number sequencing puzzles, etc. These materials will help my students transform from nothing into something.
I am hoping that in funding these basic school supplies, it would make these aspirations and desires for my students come true.
