In our fifth-grade classroom, learning takes many forms—reading, listening, problem-solving, and creating. To support each student’s unique learning needs, we use a variety of online platforms tailored to individual skill levels. However, without headphones, it becomes challenging for students to focus and fully engage without distractions. A classroom set of high-quality headphones would provide the quiet and personalized learning experience my students need to succeed.
Our Title I school serves a diverse group of majority Black and Brown students, many from low-income households.
These bright, curious learners face significant financial challenges, making it difficult for families to provide learning tools like headphones.
